UKSIP Member wins award
SIPCO have received an award from the ‘The Institution of Structural Engineers’ for their Nissen Hut project.
The Widnes based company, who offers a complete SIP Structural Insulated Panels design, manufacture and installation service, says they are ‘thrilled to receive such a prestigious award’.
Peter Barr, Managing Director adds “SIPs are an advanced, modern method of Timber Frame construction, offering far superior insulation, structural strength and air-tightness than traditional systems and it is great that this project can highlight this technology and give it the recognition it deserves.”
The Structural Awards are the industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony which celebrates excellence in structural engineering and the ceremony took place at London’s Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on the 18 November 2011.
